The very first ICC Cricket World Cup was held in 1975 in England and wales which was won the West Indies. Indian team had won the third edition of the ICC Cricket World Cup in 1983 and 10th edition in 2011.
This will be the first time that Cricket World Cup 2023 would be completely held on Indian soil. In the previous three editions 1987, 1996, and 2011; India shared the venue with Pakistan and Bangladesh respectively.
So India would host the 13th edition of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.
India was the first country which has won the ICC Cricket world cup in 2011 as a host nation and Australia has repeated this record in the 2015 Cricket World Cup.

ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 would be played in India from 9 February 20123 to 26 March 2023. The tournament would be played in Round-Robin format. Venue for the final match is not decided yet.
